looking to get a set of locking wheel nuts for a w208 clk 2002 model. tried the usual places likes ebay etc. any suggestions ?

Standard fit MB wheel locks are made by a firm called McGuard and are regarded as the best in the business. A friend researched locks after having his passat wheels borrowed. (He's like that!) and apparently they win all the awards. He bought his from Halfrauds but I dare say if you put the name into google you'll find them online.

Hi,
If you buy the lock nuts anywhere else other than MB take 1 wheel bolt with you to ensure correct fitment, as if the bolts are to long you could cause damage to your handbrake mechanism.

I recently bought the McGuard ones from Halfords as I wanted them asap. The part number is 28023SU, although I have the 17 inch AMG alloys on my Y-reg. They cost under £35.
