Hi Ricky, I am in a similar situation, I have a small bit of kerb rash though. I am going for a new wheel with mine because I don't like repaired things. With your flat spot, I know they can be repaired but in the back of my mind I would be worried that the wheel had lost some of its integrity.

I agree always in the back of my mind would be concern about running a repaired wheel
I believe the 19in 7 spoke amg wheels are around £1000 each, crazy money.
The car is a 2014 E250 so not a big performance car but different size wheel front and back so I can't swap front to back.
My local tyre center said the wheel is not cracked but the paint is broken which they said can mean it might need welding on repair

Can't recommend anywhere that far north but I've had 7 wheels straightened by the guy I use and they've been absolutely fine.
I had the 4 free ones I got from Craig done and three on the 129. All are fine and no sign of weakness 2 years on.

Ye I sure someone who knows what they are doing with alloy wheels can reliably repair the wheel,I am just unsure of a reliable source, and my location does not help my situation

There is no issue with repairing wheels at all provided it is done properly. Straightening them is fairly easy with the right equipment

The Wheel specialists https://www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk/inverness/jaguar-split-rims-get-tws-treatment/
are good, a bit pricey but given your location may be your best option. My Nephew has used them (Helmsdale based) and had a good job done. I've used them down this way and had a good job too. They are a national franchise so have standards they work to...
Thanks very much John, I will definitely give them a shout even if they are a bit pricey it will still be cheeper than a new rim at £1000.
Thanks to everyone for all your help and advice.
