Where can I get some wheel spacers for my w123?
It has the mexican hat alloys not the original narrow ones and under heavy cornering the tyre leans over and slightly rubs against the rubber boot of the ball joint on the trackrods.
Once the boot has split, the balljoint becomes wobbly shortly afterwards due to dirt ingress and play in the steering is noticed.
I've just changed my 3rd track rod in 18 months. The right one, then the left one, and today the right one again!
Only a small amount of spacing would be needed - 3mm should easily do it, but where can you get them from??
