Newb so please take it easy.

Had a little accident in my 1995 M E 220 last weekend.

Managed to skid on some black ice and smash my alloy on a kerb.

So I am trying to locate a new alloy.

The information I have - it is a 15" 8 hole alloy which takes a 195 65 R15 tyre.
The information stamped on the inside of the wheel is

7Jx15 H2
ET41

I cannot locate a part number

1st question, there is a very similar wheel currently advertised on ebay, but it is an ET40 - from reading info about ET numbers on this site, I do not think this will be a problem - but could someone please confirm.

2nd question - does anybody know anywhere else I may be able to locate a wheel.

I need to get the wheel replaced before further repairs can be carried out.

Many thanks in advance for any help.

Have been in contact with several breakers, but they can only offer me a

6.5Jx15 H2

Would this have an impact ?

ayjayho,

You must use the same width wheel as the tyre will sit differently on the rim. It will be pulled in marginally compared to the othersand would require a different offset (ET) to provide the correct track width. Mercedes traditionally run their tyres at about the maximum rim width for the specified tyre to presumably provide a seemingly stiffer tyre wall to sharpen? the handling. Reducing the width will allow noticably more flex and strange handling if used on one wheel only. Go for the e-bay wheel.
