Where to find rear right hand side plastic moulding cover for E190

Hi all, im struggling to source a new plastic moulding cover for the rear right hand corner on my blue e 190. So far found a few on ebay but all in different colours and been almost scammed on the correct one! If anyone had one from an e190 they're breaking or could point to some places where I might find one that would be much appreciated!! Or also the parts number so I can find it a bit easier. Have you tried MB themsleves or mercedes classic.

Have you looked on ebay for a car being broken.

Tried ebay and dronsfields and found it in most other colours just can't find it in blue! Will try contacting mb, cheers!

I assumed as its the plastic moulding getting it resprayed wouldn't be that simple?

Have you tried any of the parts finder services like Breakerlink or 247 spares ? they can be quite good.

You have never had a bumper sprayed?

No this is my first mercedes and first classic car, have only had ropey vans or noot noots before so haven't had to (and my work isn't to do with cars). Is it pretty simple then? Will have a google

Have a look at the Mercedes 190 Forum if you haven't already.

A wealth of knowledge over there and, as the title suggests, very specific to your model.

You may or may not get your panel in the correct colour but any competent body shop should be able to match it for you.

Good stuff. As mentioned (and my point re bumbers) it can be resprayed and it will not cost much. A good body shop will blend it to the colour of the car which may well have faded.
