Which E class is your favourite..

Which E class do you prefer?
Personally I like the W212 shape but with the W213 interior.

Each new model has been an improvement on the last for me, so I'd choose the W213 in E63 guise.

Now I think the W212 is an elegant looking car although it doesn't look like it in the poor picture of it. Not my favourite though. W213 has got to be the best one there and the one for me, it is the latest evolution of the model for christ's sake, MB wouldn't knowingly go backwards would it ??

I really liked my W213, the 212 was too sharp and angular compared to the 211 and 210.

The engine, gearbox and tech in the 213 is very nice and I appreciate they didn’t ruin the interior with the fake iPad stuck out from the dash. The ruins the C class for me.

I've never driven any of them but in terms of appearance, a 211 with decent wheels can always turn my head for another look.

Well purely on looks, I think the most Handsome of the range is the 123, closely followed by it’s predecessor the 115, the 124 is reminiscent of a Volvo missing the diagonal flash!, the 210 looks like two different cars welded together at the front door post, the front wedge just doesn’t fit, the later 211 if far more elegant with better matching proportions but I’m still not a fan of those twin headlights and wonder who designed them first MB or Jaguar? The 212 is my preferred choice of a modern E Class and the 213 is just a disappointment, without the three pointed star is unrecognisable as a Mercedes, it looks just like any other current angry design configured by computers without any feeling.

I didn't like the W212 when it first came out, but it grew on me - and then I ended up owning one! I still don't like the W210 but all the others are lovely in their own ways. I prefer the 213 as an estate, though.
