Whilst it costs the proverbial fortune, I have been using Shell V Power E5 in my S63,

FWIW my return over the last 2000 miles or so, with a mixture of driving, is 20.9 mpg.

Price in my local Shell is £1.65 per litre.

Anyone supporting any other brands?

I have always run all my performance cars on V-power as well. It’s expensive but it’s the only option for me, I believe the Tesco 99 is supposed to be good as well but there’s not any available near me

Ahhhhhhhhhh the good old fuel thread, use what works for you and what you are and the car happy with.

Although not an AMG or even "High-Performance" I've been using the "Super-Unleaded" versions for about the last 18 years since it first became available at TEXACO. But then Sainsburys had it, then Tesco, ESSO, BP, Shell and so on.
I've used it in all my cars no matter what they were.
Generally I've never done high mileage so the extra 4 or 5p never really made any difference. (to me). But I did find that after extended use the engine just ran smoother, with a bit more "get up and go". I also got a slightly improved MPG.
Of course you will find others that say it makes no difference - which is understandable as they try it once, usually topping up an already quarter or half tank and expect dynamic performance straight away - it doesn't work like that....
That £3 you save filling up your tank, (60lts) won't even buy you a Beer in a Pub these days! (But you'll quite happily pay £6 for something that lasts a few minutes!).

The only one of my cars that gets anything other than bog standard fuel (and usually supermarket fuel) is the Remapped Smart Roadster (and then only when in the UK). The only fuel it gets then is Tesco momentum or Total Super unleaded as it runs poorly on Shell, BP or Esso (even worse than it runs on normal Shell for some reason).
But then that car is fairly fussy due to the 1.5 bar of boost its running.

Always run my remapped E63 on Tesco Momentum 99 Ron.
Currently paying £1 46 p ltr.
If Momentum is unavailable I'll use Shell V-Power but its a lot dearer than Tesco offerings.

On a recent long run I achieved almost 30mpg which I consider pretty good.

Not got the AMG yet but only use V-Power in my ///M5 - feels a lot stronger in the power department with it - consumption is around 20MPG in combined driving...whilst it is more expensive, I daren't put anything cheaper from the supermarket in it - I mean, I wouldn't drink a supermarket own-brand whiskey...so I guess that's my reasoning.

I do put Tesco Diesel / Petrol in my X5, E Class and Golf though - they are just tools for the job so don't get the luxury of V Power.
