Hi, I need to buy two new tyres for my 190D 2.5 (1993) and need suggestions for replacements. Currently I have Pirrili P6000's. Economy and comfort is more important for me than outright grip/performance as I take it sedately and treat my old lady (181,000 miles) with consideration.

Am happy to spend good ££ on tyres as I don't attempt to cut corners on shoes. Any suggestions here?

Many thanks.

Adrian

If your happy with what you have, then match up with two more for the front

Well, the P6000's seem OK, I'm just interested to know if there are better, more modern tyres out there that would do the job. I think the P6000 is quite an old design...

Tyres are vital for your safety, choose the best you can afford, I have had Michelin & Avon on 190's
avoid any CCCP tractor tyres
avoid any used over 3 years old
