Hi and welcome to the forum, I'm just down the road from you in Virginia Water, anyway I usually buy my tyres from a small outlet near Chobham / West End - they are always keen on the price and their advise is fair, give them a call.

I'm running BARUM Bravuris

205s on 15in wheels on my 500. I'm sure they do a similar set-up in 14ins.
Compettitively priced at about £65 a corner and better performance that the Continental Sportcontact. They are made by Continental. I also have them on my C280, and they are miles better than the Michelin Pilots they replaced.

Many thanks people for your advice & comments.... 'just stumbled upon these pages again & quite taken back by your input. Must say replacements seem easier to come by than my other "hobby car", an '83 Tagora SX running on TRX 205x65 365 AS (metrics!) Cheers again.
PS: The 280 SLC runs on Autogas ~ great @ 50p a litre!

Hi,
I have 4 Falken 215/60 R15 tyres on my SLC 15" rims, and altho I have only had the car a short time, I am very happy with the general performance of the tyres in the wet and dry.
I hope you found tyres to suit!
