My ML320 (1999) has developed an unusual whining noise when moving.
The odd thing is though, if I accelerate gently the noise does not start, however if I accelerate normally or a little quickly the noise starts instantly.
My first thoughts would lead me to think it may be the front differential where the problem lies, but I would love to be proved wrong.
Has anybody else experienced such a problem and / or advice to possible a solution.
