whistling steering rack

hi, the w210 has had a whistling rack since last year but only when hot in warm to hot weather, in winter it's fine. doesn't whistle when idling but only when it is revved, sounds like an old supercharger! wifes getting fed up with it, i don't mind! anyone any ideas?

Sounds more like its belt related to me.

you could try some belt replenisher it softens and "reconditions" the belt
if it still does it call me i worked at a ps firm for yonks!
