Read that this morning, not surprised at all - and it's not the "Mercedes Me" adaptor that's tracking.

I wonder how cooperative Mercedes would be if your car was stolen? Could they pass its location to the police? I'm surprised the marketing boys aren't selling the benefits :)

I wonder how many customers have signed up on a PCH/PCP without even reading the T's and C's let alone understanding the implications?

"These include a clause about the activation of ‘location sensors’ in bold print above where the customer signs."

I would imagine that it goes under :- "Mercedes-Benz emergency call was launched back in 2012, and has featured as standard in all model series since Mercedes me was introduced in September 2014. Over 3.5 million Mercedes-Benz vehicles in 25 Countries in Europe are currently equipped with the system. From 31 March 2018, an EU directive requires all new passenger cars to be equipped with and EU eCall system." Which is fairly well publicised
