Just for the record, bulbs grow in gardens! What the OP needed was a filament lamp, albeit a back up filament lamp! :lol:

My truck has six reversing lights fitted, so I don't need a back up backup bulb.

But interestingly I did not know that 1990's Vauxhall Astras use 16w bulbs.

neither did i. and i saw plenty of them. my sister had one! then she saw her error and went back to Ford as they have served her far better!
