My wifes 54 plate C class, went to an MB delaer for a paint job on the boot lid ......... when we got it back ...... it too had metamorphisized into a CLK !!!

Its when you send the wife away, and she comes back metamorphosed that you start to have problems

best badge I have EVER SEEN was on a Fiat Punto the guy had chopped the tail off the "P" & inverted it & cut off the "Flat Back bit" (Making it a "C")

He was then driving around in a FIAT *UNTO"

Did something similar in my younger days. Had the obligatory Ford Capri GHIA.
Took two years to restore it. Kept original plates which were silver letters on black. Sat in iceland carpark while mum got some shopping, and a police 'Officer' came over. After getting read the riot act and told several quotes of uk legislation and then a summons to court about having an ilegal number plate, I changed to a standard yellow one but had 'F**k off & Die' printed in the number plate underneath the letters in protest.
Too small to read from twenty feet away but one smart rs copper did and followed me all round the local town. No villians or criminals then you see.

When he stopped me and asked about it, to impress his little girlfriend partner he said "there are two obscene words in the English language, that was one, and I was the other". That worked !!!
Except I didnt have or look like a two inch sharp pointed implement! :lol:

Theres a few council estate bentleys(nickname for them up here) round my way which the owners have changed the grill and alloys and badges to Bentley ones,looks crap and well funny.
