There is no mention of service history on the advert. You may also want to call them up get details on that and get the number plate. That way you can do some checks on the car too. There is a photo of where you can see the VIN plate and it looks like it is too small but it may be possible to expand that and get the number to do some further investigation.

If it is an estate that you really need then have a look at a E55/E63.

It has full history. About 50/50 MB and specialist. MB Motors is one of the stamps...

Its a good time to go and see it during the rain. I would check the boot for any damp and front seats for drip marks from roof seals... ABC issues go without saying along with other general suspension issues... so a nice file of work that has been done would be invaluable...

Easier if 1 or2.. 5 suggest maybe 1 or more moved it on before it bit him..... As did I with Vdoz only to get a narrow escape on ml 250.2x bit. Slow learner.

There's very little miles between MOT tests from 40K which is as far as the DVLA site goes.

Check the MoT history too. Lot's of advisories and what are they? Something to worry about or nothing in particular?

With regards to coupes I have heard that they can tend to have more owners as people buy them and then realise that they aren't practical enough to keep.

Cud be. But I think most r230, 231 owners are 2nd car. I think real reason is they are very complex and I. Mind of many will be " how long can I get away with it" think I had mine around near 6 yrs . Considered that enough chance taking. I did luv that motor tho. I found myself looking massaratti grand Turismo last week, n wondering if I cud get away with one for a Yr or two. Only body style I think near r230.
I have been reading up on dramas. There don't seem to be many..
But there is nice hillman minx in Durham.... Wot to do??

About 1.5hours from me, but I dont go onsite to do vehicle inspections anymore. It became too much hassle to arrange, dealers often being confrontational and you loose a day to the travel etc.

Happy to do an inspection if the dealer wants to drive it to us though!
