VW Scirocco. The Quattro, E350 CDi Blue Efficiency Sport Coupe, now both gone
In her defence she always said she doesn’t like BMWs and Blue cars, and especially Blue BMWs!!;)

No accounting for taste John eh? I think yours looks cool.

Going back to why won't wife drive your car, back in 1998 we bought a 968 tip coupe as our main car, and wife loved it. Over time (starting about 2 years after we bought the coupe) our main car became an Astra Estate, then the S203 estate and now the S204 estate, but 7 years ago I swopped the 968 coupe for a 968 tip cab. In terms of driving controls etc it's identical to the coupe, the only big difference being the rear and rear 1/4 visibility roof up - but roof down it's as near as makes no difference identical. Will herself drive it - NO!! Tried it once roof down and has refused to drive it ever since. Have tried numerous times to get a reasoned expalantion of why, without success. Why are women and logic mutually exclusive??:(:(

That depends on who you are with. The intelligent ones can be on the same wavelength as you. No brainer.

Crikey. Some of you have very low expectations of ladies. My girlfriend was a rally driver for the university rally driving club and actually surprises me sometimes with her knowledge of cars and driving abilities. Plus her father has written a book on driving (see attached photo). Plus she has a masters in chemistry so knows a bit about the chemical reactions within a car.

So not all ladies are dumb blonde types.

Hey, I think that women drivers would drive the car away if it had square wheels. They might think it was driving a bit rough but they would still drive it. An example of this would be with swmbo. She ran over a large Boulder on the road which meant replacing a tyre with under 2000 miles on it costing £120 because a car was coming in the opposite direction meaning she couldn't swerve around the Boulder. She failed to understand, when it was explained to her, that the middle pedal would have brought the car to a stop. Then she could have driven around said Boulder. Or, indeed, got out & moved it. Typical women driver imho.

Not sure what the problem is, my wife knows all the pedals, uses cruise and speed limiter but is scared of the auto parking.
She just has a problem with distances UploadFile1571155963.658188.jpg
