Wind deflector for r107 SL 500 [1989]

Can anyone tell me if such an item was ever made or retro fitted -ie to stop wind buffeting on back of neck -ie like fitted to SLK

I have looked all around the big USA forums and nothing came up. You could make one, the trick is it must be a good fit at the base where it joins the car.

There are plastic ones made for the SLK and you could search this site, maybe they do one

there are some on e-bay at the moment

search for "windschott- Mercedes" in Europe. they aren't cheap though. I think you can still get them at Merc Dealers , new for about £240 if memory serves me right
