wind noise

Hi all,
       Just had the front windscreen replaced on my 260e and am now getting loads of wind noise at motorway speeds-took it back to the fitters and theyhave tried but failed to rectify the problem.Can any one reccomend a place were i can get this sorted(hopefulyy by a mechanic who understands that mercs are supposed to be almost silent at 70mph without any major wind noise)

The best way to eliminate wind noise is to use wide masking tape. Stick it around the screen, test drive to make sure all is quiet, and then remove a section at a time until the noise appears. This method also works well on noisey mis-aligned doors.
