Window Closing With Key Fob

Hi all, I have a W176 A Class and I have suddenly lost the ability to open and close my windows with the key fob. Could this be that the battery in the key is dying or possibly another reason as I haven’t had a message on the dash to say the key battery is low. The doors still lock and unlock perfectly fine using the key fob. Thanks in advance.

Put another battery in the fob. Preferably Duracell + . Total closure works on infra red pointed at the small square in the door handle . The door locks work on radio frequency.
