Window master switch

Unfortunately the wife managed to snap off one of the window selector switches. Mercedes no help at all
I couldn’t believe I could get a replacement switch selector on eBay from China of course! £7.50 it took 3days to get here and fitted a treat I cannot see any difference.

Hi. Can I ask what kind of switch it was? I have the same problem with my C350. The replacement from ebay is cheap but it doesn't look like a push fit https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184072631287?ul_noapp=true

Indeed. the master switch assy with the mirror selector.

From the picture on eBay you cannot tell if it’s the same. The selector the wife broke was the offside front switch. It left two pieces of plastic within the main body. With careful teasing they came out. The new switch selector came with a replacement spring and plastic fitting that I guess makes the movement silky. If you’ve lost the original spring it sits down inside the selector then just lightly push the replacement into place a light click all done. Marvellous!

Just looked at the eBay picture yes that’s the one I was a bit worried that the curve wouldn’t match it does!

I guess it's only £7 so I won't lose much if it doesn't fit! the spring and the little black thingy on top of the spring are still there under the broken switch

Just to update, it fitted fine, just a push fit. However there were bits of plastic from the old one in the mechanism that I couldn't see. They stopped it pushing home properly. i had to take the whole switch pack out to find them and remove them. Just a heads up for anyone else. if it doesn't click home easily that's probably why.
