Hi all. Just a quick question. IV got a 1999 clk320. While I was having my window tints done. The chap said that my windows should drop slightly when door is opened. Then once the doors ate shut then they close. As you can see im asking as mine don't do it. all I need to know is. Should they or not. But ifso. Does anyone know where I should look to get them working again. IV had this car 2 months now and had to spend a bit of cash on it to put stuff right that the previous owner couldn't be bothered to. Do. So seems I'll be posting a lot of questions

"Frameless" glass on doors should normally have an auto-drop feature on opening/closing, that works as you describe - it helps clear the seals (and I was once told, it reduces 'suction', during opening/closing).

I have a 208 and the windows do drop. But I think it might have been a facelift option.

It seems early 208's didn't..face lifts did
