Windscreen Rain Sensor

I have had my cracked windscreen replaced twice now, and on both occasions the rain sensor dosn't work , the wiper stays on permanatley on '1' although the screen is dry.
I have been given the OK by the windscreen replacement co. to take it to Mercedes for a diognostic check (they will cover the bill), but I would like to make sure that there is nothing that has been overlooked before I take it there.

had similar problem when autoglass replaced my screen. they had two attempts at fixing the problem, incl. fitting new sensor from m-b. just take it to m-b and they should recalibrate.
