My windscreen washer jet doesn't work if I press combination switch behind my stering weel just ONCE. It does work, but I have to press it 3-4 times. You can actually hear that it's trying to pump the wather... but there is nothing there ?
I'm wonder if any of you had the same problem?

I had the exact same problem on 2002 coupe, and the return valve wasnt working so water just drops into the bottle, so the 1st couple of presses pumps it up, the garage said it was very hard to get to it, so instead placed a new return valve further up the pipe making it less of a drop for the water, it solved my problem.

bigasotonuk: I can't hold it down. It will switch itself off after short while (one second or something) if there is no liquid (water). That's why have to press it 3-4 times

coolpot: mine is W203 C180K Coupe - 2003 car. Where exacly did they fitted that return valve Would you have a picture or something...

Thanks for help

Where your battery is under the bonnet check the feed hose is not kinked.
