My washer system has stopped working !

It ran LOW on water and I refilled but then nothing came out of the nozzles although the pump was working, but after 4 /5 attempts the pump does not now seem to be working!

Any ideas - has the fuse blown or ??

Where is the fuse located for the system ?

Why would it just stop working when refilled !!

Regards

I have seen and experienced similar problems which seemed to result from an emptied water bottle, The water gets a gungy sticky slime in it which will choke up the pump inlet if the level gets low enough.
What the slime is I do not know but seems to be from that blue stuff they flog to stop it freezing and keep your glass clean. When the slime is present your windscreen gets a bit of it every time you wash it leaving behind a smear that is irritating (at least to me).
Remove and wash (soak in bleach and scrub?) out the tank and the pumps inlet port, reassemble and it may work again. You might check to see if the pump gets 12V at its power plug when the wash is demanded before you take it to bits.
To prevent the build up of slime flush out the washer tank with a hose pipe occasionaly.

I came across the same problem on our W203,The water pipe between the wing and the bonnet gets trapped by the hinge, when putting the bonnet down push the pipe to the left to clear the hinge.

I'd the same problem and traced the rubber tube from the washer refill bottle under the bonnet around to the washer spray at the windscreen. I found that the tube had popped out of one of the holdings/clips and kinked (somewhat like a garden hose) and thus the pressure had not worked. Stuck the rubber hose back into the clip and Hep Preato
