windscreen wipers

i have recently purchase a merc c180 what a fantastic car
but i have a proplem , when i put on my windscreen whiper it seems to stagger to whip from left to right almost stalling in the centre of the screen . is the motor on its way out or is there something i can do ?
can anyone help thanxs :?

If it is a monoblade then try to lubricate the wiper shaft which is under a plastic cover at the bottom end of the wiper arm. Lift this cover and put some high melting point grease on the shaft if it is dry.

hi this problem of wiper blade sticking also occurs whentrying or formerly wipping bird manure(for want of better terminlology)off the screen try cleaning the blade cheers (not wipping wiping sorry) a lot of people feed birds on fat balls and it does make one say balls when its on the screen cheers again colin
