hi all
my off side wing mirror glass has 'gone', the liquid/oil in it for the auto dipping is looking quite sick. my local main stealership, SG Cardiff would like me to hand over £330 for a replacement. mmmmm
the standard heated version which is only £55, i say 'only' because it is way cheaper than £330, has a differant electrical plug on it, or so i have been told by the chap at SG Cardiff. he said it can be done but does not know how to do it.
Can anyone shine some light on this for me please.
thank you in advance.

thanks for the quick response.
so connect the heated pair and leave the dimming pair taped up?
are they labled or is it obvious which is which?
thanks again for the speedy reply

The heated pair will show up on an ohm meter,,but I am sure that they are in the same place so will be easy to see.

The other way is to empty the liquid and use a stick on glass from Halfords or your motor factors at £10,,the heated part will still work

i am having trouble fitting it, any help would be fantastic,, i have spent 30 mins trying, but i do not want to
1. snap any of the plastic lugs and
