Hi guys, please tell me what kind of wipers you think are the best?

I changed once with Mercedes ones and didn’t go to much and I always have a knocking sound, the end of the drivers side wiper knocks on the glass every time it’s on.
Much appreciated

Thank you sir, was hoping for an answer from a senior member.
I’ve ordered Bosch aero twin from eBay, it seems that everyone is out of stock.
I’ve also seen continental they were 40£ but no reviews nowhere about them

Always used MB genuine and never had an issue. I’ve heard some aftermarket wipers can cause whistling noises (look on some forums) so keep an eye out for it

You cant go wrong with aero twin. you may find they are the same as the MB ones minus the MB logo and the wear indicator.

Out of alignment somewhere then.
The wiper needs moving on the drive shaft spline.

Maybe post a video to show the exact issue.

As Misterdog. Turn your wipers off and remove nuts from the main wiper arms and try putting them back on in right position see that helps , if it’s not that then i assume it must be the mechanism arms bush’s away or similar.

Much appreciated, thank you guys. Sound mechanical I thought I’m supposed to twist that arm a bit by myself. Don’t want to damage it, I’ll go tmrw to my spot. Also a good change to lift it up and check the creaking that’s terrorizing me :)

thank you

Good morning, finally fixed it, it was the drivers arm that needed bending, that’s all.

Good day guys

I did ask you because u seemed pretty sure I have to swap them, and yes the long one is on driver side, don’t know about inches but is 550mm and 600.

No i am not sure i looked at the sizes recomended for your model and i found 20 inch and 22 inches so one of yours looks to me as if its to long . Doing my chacking i found that the blade you have @ 600 mm is 1 and 9/16 over size in length .. the other blade 550mm is not far of . Check them yourself .

Oh no, ordered the correct sizes, the arm was so twisted that the wiper was always leaning and hitting the glass, actually forgot what’s a Mercedes about, so quiet now and enjoyable to drive in rains :))

Carl is your car after 2016 if so the blades you have are correct for your car . There were other sizes depending on the year of manufacture , and in you post there was no idntification of the year you car was made . So blades are good to go .
