Wiper problem

Hi All,

Looks like i am the first victim of the snow this morning :Oops:

My single wiper on my C180 "M" plate has stopped working, it looks like the linkage may have come off as i can still hear the motor ok.
My question what is the quickest way to access the motor and linkages and is this a common problem with these large wipers?

:Oops: I cleared the snow off the windscreen but not down where that huge wiper hub swings.:Oops:

If the motor is still running then it could just be the bolt on top of the motor spindle/shaft

Spot on Malcolm,

Many thanks for that. The bolt was loose and would not allow the motor drive to be transmitted. All is now well and it is all back together and looking good, and now that i have finished the job the snow has stopped!
