Hello, chaps,
Did a beautiful install of an Android head unit yesterday and then, after a number of hours work, THE UNIT FAILED TO POWER UP! :-( It's not the fuse as when I reconnected the Mercedes unit it powered up fine.
My car is a late 2009 W211 but I've reason to believe that the head unit was later upgraded to an MN3830 (APS50, possibly NTG2 or NTG2.5). Because of this, the connector block sent with the Android for a W211 car MAY not be compatible with the actual wiring that's in the car.
Soooo the seller has asked me to send a wiring diagram of the car's head unit but, frustratingly, there isn't one printed on the chassis! I can't seem to find one on the web either...
And so finally, the request: has anyone got a wiring diagram for the MN3830? I'm no auto-electrician (I can route cables and connect things up) so it's no good talking to me about fuses, resistors, sends etc. - I won't have the faintest idea what you're talking about. I just need a wiring diagram to send to the seller.
I know this is a bit of a long-shot but you guys are great and so I'm hopeful!
