wiring loom fault

I have a ML 270 CDi 04 plate the wiring loom that runs along the n/s inner wing came loose from body, started to rub on the wing and cut through loom, melted causing the brakes to seize on. This happend on the motorway nearly killing my wife and children all because the clip was not attached to the body properly. Mercedes are taking no responsibillty for this fault which could cause a verey serious accident. Has anyone had problems like this with the wiring loom if you have a ml 270 i would get it checked this is a serious fault.

Hello and welcome to the MB forum,,I have never heard of this before, and nothing has ever been posted here, or elsewhere as far as I know, could the car have had a repair at some time and the wire was not clipped up correctly
