I have a 98 320clk. went out this morning and it wont start. I checked the obvious like fuel and spark (no problem there) It turns over but just wont fire up. The car was fine yesterday. I was wondering if there is a fuel cut out or perhaps an injection relay. any ideas

Possibly a crank sensor problem, but hard to tell from here........

As Uncle Benz, should just be the cranshaft sensor, cheap and easy to replace.

Certainly worth checking first.

wont start (does now)

Many thanks Uncle Benz and Television. I took your advice and changed the crank sensor today and it started first time, It could have been tricky as I'm in the south of France. I would also like to thank the guy who emailed the diagram it was most helpful.

(what a web forum)
