I have a 1993 190 Automatic, it's the carb model and it just won't tick over when you first start it so you have to drive with 2 feet. It's been in to two garages and they have failed to fix it. Any ideas? As the car is driven by my wife and she's threatning to px it against a vauxhall (sorryt o swear)

When you say wont tick over, are the revs to low or what, is it OK when warm.

Hi
It appears that the tick over is too low but that doesn't appear to solve the problem. Once the cars run for about 15 minutes you can start to drive it normally.
