IIRC there are now paper workshop manuals for later MBs, just the Workshop Information System (WIS) available on-line for a subscription

WIS is very good, I use it on a daily basis, its tricky to use to start with and its not user friendly but once you get the hang of it its great and there is a lot of info on there.

The install can be a pig so take it slow and read everything before you start because if you try to do a reinstall it has to be removed first and that means removing it from the registry.

So questions about obtaining manuals should be answered with links to websites that have legitimate manuals / online facilities only ! I thank you..

OK I understand, but my last post contained no links whatsoever and yet it was still deleted.

So I ask the question for a third time, would someone be so kind as to advise me where to get hold of a technical guide which will assist me in stripping and cleaning the interior of our 1997 320SL.

I could certainly muddle my way through it, but there are important items such as torque settings which would be required.

Your last post did not contain a link but did contain a named website that is known for copyright infringement.
