Very nice, but prepare for very big bills to keep it going.

Have you got the V12 itch again?
Just remember why you sold your 230, it’s going to be the same for a 221

So do I. For someone not unduly concerned about repair costs it seems a lot of car...

According to the advert if sold yesterday for 11.8k.

Personally I have a dislike to the car and classic advert wording. Makes you want to vomit.

I do like an analogue clock on the dash.

Though not so much that I bought it,

I would treat that advert with the respect it deserves!!

Is the advert talking a good fight without offering ANY type of assurance?.

Auctions are the easiest way of a seller washing their hands of a vehicle that might have problems. The seller has everything to gain, the buyer has everything to lose. Heads I win, tails you lose!! Trust me, you know this is a great car, well worth the money.

If we buy a car from auction then I would suggest we cost in the expense of huge financial commitments regarding repairs.

Not all dogs bark!!

Wherever you buy a car like an S Class from, always best to put aside a few £ k for repairs. Did that with the CL and so far not got anywhere near the put away fund.
