It's for a old e 300 d just for short trips over the winter.
Thanks in advance

.... too many cars!
I would have thought the 205/65/15 tyres are the wrong size for an E300. Should they not be 195/65/15? Anyway 195/60/15 should be ok but will be a little smaller than standard

195x60 has a profile height (rim to tread) of 117mm, 205x65 has 133.25mm so quite a difference.

Your speedometer will read quite a bit higher than actual

As said standard sizes for these is 195/65 r15 or (sport chassis) 205/60 r15 if we're talking about w124s. Typo in the OP perhaps? As well as being the correct size 195/65 r15 is a VERY common size i.e. lots of choice/cheaper and the 'official' winter tyre size for sport chassis cars too, specifically 195/65r15 91T
