William, will the WT4 be able to be used on other marques or if bought for a MB is it dedicated?

Hi, it is avalible for just about every brand pre mid 2009. Please let us know what you have.... normally the wt4 will only show one active brand at any given moment but we can open all brands at no extra cost just let us know before any purchase. It can be unlocked at any time.

How does it disable the DPF? I can get how the EGR function can be shut down but how does it work for the DPF

Good afternoon,

The WT4 system is a portable OBD reader, so you will "READ" the vehicle and e-mail us the file, we will then modify it to what ever specification you require e.g (performance, EGR delete, DPF delete) we then send the file back and you write to the vehicle.

Everything we write is 100% bespoke and custom so your wish is our command!

But the DPF is a physical filter in the exhaust system. That would have to be removed first then your remap would have to tell the ecu there is no DPF fitted?

Yes thats correct!

Forgive me for not clarifying, the physical filter brick would need to be removed then the software developed for the car to be written back the the vehicle.
