Bit of advice required, looking to get some new headlight bulbs, car is 2004 W211 E320 CDI, seen bulbs on E Bay £15-00 a pair, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mercedes-...hicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4160559c0f&_uhb=1
also seen some £60-00 + each  anyone have any experience with the E Bay ones, or should they be avoided, don`t really fancy shelling out £120-00 + for a couple of bulbs.

I purchased some from ebay to replace the 5yr old xenons in my CLS. MB fitted them for me and they are working nicely. I bough 5000k version, whiter than the OEM 4300K and not blue like the 6000K.

Though the standard 4300k will have a higher light output.

Have you a link for bulbs, looking at chart 6000 is a whiter light than 4300, thought 4300 was supposed to be the brightest (and whitest) ?

Very much so Malc, the old ones were very dim in comparison.

4300k does give out the highest light level but tends to be slightly 'warm', hints of yellow. 5000k is a purer white without loosing much in output.

I can't find the ones I bought but a quite search should bring up plenty.
