They should be OK for you as you have your steering wheel on the wrong side. Must say they look good

My steering wheel is on the right.

I have asked the seller the question if these are easily changed form RHD to LHD, as I still intend to commute between the UK and Spain and an easily-switchable headlamp unit will be perfect (I dislike the stick-on convertors!).

As I will be registering the S-Class on Spanish plates, I need RHD headlamps fitted - but would like to be able to simply flick a switch and return to LHD for the UK.

On most xenons there is a lever that brings down a masking plate that cuts off part of the beam. Thats ok for driving aboard but will not pass on an import.

This would mean that the car would have the correct lamps in Spain, and you use the lever to mask off the beam in the UK

Thats what I'm hoping for - the VERY FIRST thing that the ITV check when registering the car in Spain, is the Headlamps..!!

Fingers crossed! :D

there is the info on the department of transports site that states its illegal to fit xenon to any vehicle unless you change the whole headlight (which you are doing ) but also must have self levelling headlights and headlight washers?

I have the washers/wipers..!! Fortunately, the DOT has no jurisdiction in Spain :D

i have the xenon headlights and dont think they illuminate any more than a good set of modern halogen headlight/reflectors.
The colour may be ultra white and it does show up road signs better but overall am unimpressed compared to any other car i have been in.
i have two HID spotlights (high intensity discharge) lights, 50mm lens, fully self contained with ballast and autostrike at 30 watts each. now one of these blows away any car headlight i have ever seen. they take around 20 secs to come to full brightness and i use them at night when off roading.
If i turn on the krypton headlights of my machine (35w each) they do nothing and look like candles.
