So if I were to remove the wiring loom for the self levelling from my donor S500 and install it to the 320 I could fit the xenons?

In what way are they different? can they be altered or adapted to fit?

The reflectors and made to direct the beam differently on LHD and RHD even those with the beam cut off adjusters, this only cut of the high pert of the beam with a shield cover.

RHD lamp dip to the left and vise versa on the LHD

Can,t help regarding the LHD to RHD headlights. But reading this thread it has been mentioned that you need auto-levelling headlights to have Xenons, and if you did,nt have the vacuum operated dial adjacent to the main light switch, you have auto-levelling headlights/Xenons
Are we sure the S class had auto-levelling headlights with Xenons or indeed manual adjusting headlights with halogens, as it strikes me with my limited knowledge of the S class that most if not all S class's came with self-levelling suspension, so regardless of load the car is always in the same plane, and this plane is where the headlights would of been adjusted too.
Or am i totally on the wrong track?
