Hope I'm not boring the forum with my endless questions, I'm in danger of boring myself lol.

Anyway..

It's my speedometer, keeps sticking at 0-30 speeds, I took it on the motorway and it responded fine to those speeds and the lower speeds thereafter, then next trip back to square one.

Is this a known fault ?

and..

would repair be costly ?

CSW.

If the speedo needle sticks and nothing until over 30mph then the stop pin for the needle has become sticky and it needs cleaning up

Thanks for replying Television.

I should have mentioned though, it moves (by degrees) if I tap/thump the dash I need to do this a couple of times until it jumps to something close to a true reading BUT.. then it sticks at the 30 (for example) mark as well when I've slowed down or stopped and again only abusing the dash will make the needle drop down again.

The instrument cluster can be pushed out from the rear. Once out the cluster cover can be removed
