Used to have a C63...
I find it disappointing to see neighbours using the grit to spread on their drives rather than on the road or pavement. Then clearing their little drive but nothing else.

Way too many peeps have no clue how to drive in winter conditions and make zero preparations. If I don't need to go out then I don't. If I do then I'm prepared and go the back roads as the main roads are blocked with cars eejits.

Fixed that for you Blobcat, in the interests of inclusion & diversity! :)

Didn't someone somewhere get into trouble for gritting the path when someone slipped on it?

I seem to remember something like that from a few years ago. I think the 'offender' had put salt down on the pavement outside their house and somebody slipped on it. If they had left it as it was there wouldn't have been a problem ???

In Canada you can be fined if you don’t clear the snow from the sidewalk outside your house. If you’re disabled or senior then the city come out with a skid steer and clear your bit for you.
Many Canadians die of heart attack’s from shovelling snow from their drives and sidewalks. Comes from vigorous excercise with no warm up. Keeps the numbers down I suppose...
