I know it's annoying but don't rule out a whole car brand because of an individual , this is common practice for most brands now , they even invented a name for the practice . It's called "bending the customer over " , sorry I mean "up selling"Hello all
I thought I'd follow up here to let you know what happened.
Recap: Got my A200 AMG back from it's 2nd service (10k miles), to be told that the brakes and discs were below minimum and needed replacing.
I got a second opinion and they said that there was about a third left on the pads, so they'd be ok for a while. The discs however showed very little wear and were like new.
I've complained to Mercedes, yet to have a response.
Last Merc I'm buying!
Thanks all for your feedback.
