Is the rest of the spec better than having COMAND? I did want COMAND but I also like the seats and sunroof. No COMAND but it has Nav, well specced car

Just on the phone and the seller did say that there was a pee size area on the roof that could be rust, but walking around the car you may not notice, is that anything to worry about. Other than that he said the car is in excellent condition.

Nice one! Lovely car that- only teensy wee thing is it looks like there’s at least one ditch finder fitted (= non premium tyre brand), otherwise good....Hi, talk about things moving quickly. Booking a train tomorrow, he'll pick me up. All he's asking for is a bankers draft and some cash. I'm very nervous now. He's had some people mess him around, but has offered me first refusal until Saturday.
Thanks JBell.
The car is up near Kendle, I don't have anyone that can come with me. He thinks it is not something that anyone would notice. To get it fixed could it require a roof respray?Go see it and have a good look, where is the car, maybe someone else could meet you and inspect it?
Yes, I did wince once I noticed the tyre choice, as long as it gets me home and running for a short while. I just hope this blister spot that was mentioned is nothing too expensive to sort out, as this is a car I want to keep for a long while.Nice one! I don’t know any of these, but it’s the price of a phone call to ask if any of them would be prepared to do an inspection for you?The car is up near Kendle, I don't have anyone that can come with me. Thanks for the both chaps, really appreciate it. There is one scuff on the bumper and I will include some pics of the roof.
Yip! And as JB says the bumper might just polish out with T-cut, if not as said, Chips away are your friends (my last E class had a scuff just like that one and it cost £100 to do).Would I just go to a MB dealer and get them to sort it out?? Sorry, but I am really clueless.
The roof is rust, as the car has FMBSH it should be covered under the 30 year anti corrosion warranty.
The bumper may just polish out
Yeah good luck on the rust warranty. Had a spot coming through on the rear passenger door on a 2011 E class. Mercedes measure paint depth etc etc, and came back to me 2 weeks later with “Mercedes will not cover that, sorry. Don’t even have an explanation why.”
OP should give it a go anyway, nothing to lose after all, my luck of the draw was no go.
