Says it is silver in the description????

I would keep the C63, less trouble in the long run and you have the S as an uber barge

Hmmmm....

You now know my internal struggle. There is no doubt the C63 will give less problems.

I went to see the CL today, its in good condition, recently repainted to cover the corrosion issues that affect these.

Drives spot on.

I do worry that the corrosion would re-appear in a few years, does really depend on how its been painted. Looks good in person but you never know. I would not want to repaint this car in a few years again.

Just noticed that, no idea why.

The guy who is selling it as a car collector, not a dealer. He is about to have a show on discovery signed off. Bit if a surreal place but gives all the good vibes.

It would, you are right, its a pretty "basic" car. The CL not so much.

That looks a clean car. It's heart vs head. £8,995 is not a lot of money, is there some wiggle room on price ? It's an awesome engine. I would be seriously tempted. Cool car.

There is, but not a lot.

This car can easily cost 2-3k a year in maintenance so there is that to think of.

It does have full service history and the interior is blemish free.

I don't like the grill and the rear badges are in the wrong place, so would need to be removed.

Does that matter, you have all the bells and whistles on the S and the more stuff on them the more to go wrong

Not at all, I meant that the C class is a basic drivetrain, suspension, gearbox etc. So not much to go wrong.

Its pro for keeping the C and a con for getting the CL

That does look really nice, I like the steering wheel, is that standard on the facelift or is it off another model? (Wood delete, and looks sculpted)

Same colour interior as mine, and it does make it feel a nice light and airy place to be :)

I quite like the colour coded grille too.

Standard on all I have seen. I do not think the AMG wheel was available with wood.

I Agree, the interior is lovely, as it is mark free, its really nice!

I cant say I am a fan of the grill, maybe a different version with the chrome removed, just looks a bit cheap in person.
