Solved, it seems, the slow puncture.
Usual family chaos met I couldn't get to the tyre fitter, so I tried 50 psi for a few mins, roll the car and the deflate to 30 and inflate back to 39 psi (handbook pressure)
It's held it for two days. Inc round town use, so perhaps it was slightly unseated...
Confirmed I have a slow puncture o/s/f tyre or (hopefully) it just needs reseating on the wheel after a pothole excursion.
As long as that's all it is, I'll take it on the chin.
Hope it's not the alloy...
Off to fav local tyres fitter tomorrow morning. He'll try and charge me nothing to take...
Reject car
And quickly.
Take advice as car isn't as declared
May not be sellers fault, but they are in the game with those risks.
Though they often will scan the car as part of prep and have seen what you see....?
You are referring to the same wheel size aren't you?
Iirc, winter tyres can be the same size, so....
Do you have the handbook for your car as it will make the official recommendations in there.
Just sold my daughter's Corsa for £100 less than I wanted privately.
Got £2k instead of the £2,100 I had set as my floor.
But, it was the first person who came, a robust but decent ex copper buying it for his 17 yr old son.
But given the experience on here and what I was conscious of (feared)...
Daughters 12 reg Pug 207 in for a Major service (as we intend keeping it) and an MOT, which it passed.
A bit of surface corrosion on springs can stay an advisory, but one of the rear reg plate number plate bulbs has gone, so another advisory that puts her one bulb from a fail (or a tug from the...
Washed mine for only the second time this year and after a 200 mile business trip.
It needed it (the shame  )
But not as much as the Xtrail that still had 10% of Centre Parcs baked onto it.
Big car, lots of water, many tunes played whilst cleaning it
Hoover mine today and wash daughters...
Welcome.
Someone not driving an ovloV....!
Is it not popular as it's an A class (they're everywhere here) or, as it's a Diesel?
How are Diesels viewed in Sweden these days?
If it doesn't it may just be a software unlock (but by a pro such as Comand)
Will cost a few quid if so but would be factory ( my 2016 has Car play but not Android, but that can be unlocked)
If no joy with them and if you'd travel to Reading, STAR motor services in Caversham might be an option.
Though does it need to be a Mercedes specialist?
As insurance are involved, best leave it all to them.
Getting involved will complicate their process, slow matters up and most likely, confuse the hell out of them.
It will be costly to them and therefore to your daughter unfortunately, but she will have until renewal to start to budget for it...
I did this, linking that vid last year at some point.
Drilled a small hole in the plug before replacing.
Might get 'bunged' up with crud eventually, but I did a 2 to 3 litre delete of ballast on my car when doing this.
Well worth doing!
Will be doing it again in the Spring, just to check
We are only but a few weeks away from March
Hopefully that will put a 'Spring' in your step and maybe even your life.
And that's also top down V8 time....
Oh, I thought with these torque boost hybrids, they just charged off the over run / normal engine coasting
I didn't know you had to or could wall charge them also
