I am considering converting my 129 to gull wing doors, does anyone have any info on where I could source the parts for such a conversion?

Why oh why oh why would you want to do this? Bruno Sacco would shoot you on the spot. Go and buy a 'Gullwing' SEC .

Was an E300TD, now a Lexus LS400
I don't see how you can do this, surely the roof isn't suitable?

Unless you mean Lambo doors, in which case you'll end up ruining your car. The A-pillar won't be designed to take the weight of 2 doors.

Honestly, its a very bad idea.

It increases the value of the remaining cars:)

As merc say that the 129 is strong enough on the windscreen pillars and roll bar to support and inverted 129 I would think that they are strong enough to support the Lambo type hinge. Gull wings on a roveable hard top would be a challenge to say the least - what would you do when using the soft top - a coupe of towels with a bunjee strap ;)

Personally I think it would be a dogs dinner :D
