My wife was driving our car the other day when the accelerator peddle went slack and the engine revs went right up.
Upon investigation i found that both expansion springs on the injector/accelerator mechanism had broke.
My question is;
I can easily replace the one spring that is clearly visable under the air filter but for the life of me i cannot see how to fit the other one. The other spring sits at the back and under the injector block.
I have attached a drawing that illustrates the sping.
Can anyone tell me how to fit it and what other than the air filter do i need to remove?
