Hey there

I'm trying to fix up my old car, and need to replace the radiator. As I'm on a strict budget and can't find one from a w123 in the local area, I was wondering if a radiator can be used from other models on this car? I was told that I can use the radiator from a 190 for my car, is this true?!
I'm a complete novice so please pardon my ignorance.

Many Thanks

Gavin.

No idea but I doubt it. I dare say you could mod lots of different radiators but its still best to get the right one. Have you tried Mercman or Dronsfields. They'll post you one if they have one. Failing that, get the autotrader - they normally have breaking ads in the back. As a last stap, look in yellow pages for radiator reconditioners. I don'y know what they charge but it might be less than you think.
