I was advised by Andy when rebuilding my tranny to ensure that all the release clearences are reset. Not being a gearhead when it comes to trannies I was wondering if Andy, or any other knowledgeable person, might be able to clarify this description. I have talked to my rebuilder and he wasn't familiar with that term either. He assumed the term "release clearences" was in reference to the clutches and he plans to replace the clutches. Also, is it prudent to replace the torque converter as well? thanks
