1995 Mercedes r129 Soft top goes and closes only half way.

I got 1995 r129, having problem with soft top, it’s close and open only half way, not sure if this could be a problem but left side windows regulator three tooth are broken, it doesn’t lower or rise when I’m opening or closing the door, is that could be an issue? Is there window switch in 1995 models as I can’t see it anywhere.

Not sure about 95 cars but 93 cars the window doesn't raise or lower with the door.
On a 93 car if the window doesn't go down the roof won't open.

What I did was open and close the whole thing manually a few times, and oil the mechanisms, before trying it out electrically. Make sure the battery is correct power and charged up fully.
